Where to find/farm Rad Ants in Fallout 76?

Lager Ants

There are a few places where you can find ants in Fallout 76. Here are some of the best spots:

  • The Thunder Mountain Substation TM-02: This location is located just north of Watoga. There is a random encounter that spawns frequently here where a deathclaw is fighting off some ants.
  • The Cranberry Bog: This region is home to a number of anthills, so you’re likely to find ants here. Some good spots to check include the antique shop and surrounding area northwest of Watoga, the Tea Time event at the Giant Teapot, and the Abandoned Mine Shaft 10-E.
  • The Ash Heap: This region is also home to a number of anthills. Some good spots to check include the Ash Heap Toxic Waste Dump and the Ash Heap Disposal Site.
  • The Forest: This region is home to a few anthills, but they are not as common as in other regions. Some good spots to check include the Tyler County Dirt Track and the Hemlock Holes.

Once you find an anthill, you can use a melee weapon or a fire weapon to kill the ants. Ants drop Ant Meat, which can be used to craft Rad Ant Lager, a consumable that provides a boost to your Strength and Endurance stats.

Here are some additional tips for farming ants:

  • Use a high-damage melee weapon. Ants are weak to melee damage, so using a high-damage melee weapon will help you kill them quickly.
  • Use a fire weapon. Ants are also weak to fire damage, so using a fire weapon will help you kill them even quicker.
  • Be careful of the queen ant. The queen ant is much larger and stronger than the other ants, so be careful when you fight her.
  • Farm ants in groups. If you farm ants in groups, you will be able to kill them more quickly and efficiently.
